Blue Skies Wellness DPC does not bill insurance for primary care services. Your membership fee covers your relationship with Dr. Wright directly. You'll still want insurance, or another coverage plan, in place for things outside of primary care: specialist referrals, lab work, imaging, prescriptions, and hospital or emergency care.
Direct Patient Care tends to pair well with a high-deductible health plan or a health-sharing arrangement, since you're likely already paying out of pocket for everyday primary care visits anyway. If you're not sure what makes sense for your specific situation, Dr. Wright is happy to talk it through.
